UConn assistants step down
Two Connecticut Huskies assistant coaches have resigned as investigations continue into potential recruiting violations.
The allegations state that coaches helped push recruit Nate Miles to the school by paying for transportation, food and housing.
They also exceeded the number of phone calls that are permitted to a recruit.
For many who have followed college basketball, recruiting violations at UConn would come as little surprise.
Head coach Jim Calhoun has been involved in some shady dealings in the past with AAU teams.
